The Luxia Collection

Luxia renter guide

Your apartment move-in checklist.

Start with the dates and instructions in your lease. Use this list to organize the move, then confirm property-specific details with the leasing team.

Checks stay in this page session. Reloading clears them; print a copy to keep your progress.

Before the move: dates, notice and access

Update your address without missing the apartment number

Arrange mail forwarding through USPS’s official change-of-address process. Update your address directly with banks, insurers, your employer, subscriptions and other important senders. Include the apartment number. Forwarding does not replace updating each organization’s records.

On key day: record the starting condition

Photos and reports create a record; they do not guarantee a deposit refund or replace the lease’s procedures.

During the first week: learn the routines

Keep one moving folder

Keep the signed lease, addenda, written offer, payment receipts, condition report, utility confirmations and contact instructions together. Use a secure location for sensitive records. Do not upload them to the general Luxia hub inquiry form.

Print this page from your browser or save a PDF for your own use. Check current instructions with the community before relying on a saved copy.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start preparing to move?

Work backward from your current lease’s notice deadline, the new lease dates and any mover or access reservations. A general checklist does not establish the notice period for your lease.

How do I report maintenance after moving in?

Ask the community for its current routine and after-hours reporting instructions. Confirm which urgent issues need a call instead of a portal submission; this hub does not establish a response time.

Will every Luxia community have the same amenities and programs?

No portfolio-wide amenity or program list determines what applies to your apartment. Confirm current features, access, hours, charges and any program terms with the specific community.
